UABwell

The UABwell mental health app, imagined by UAB students and developed by UAB employees, collects UAB services, information, and resources about mental health in one central location that’s easily and quickly accessible on mobile devices. UABwell allows users to build a customizable, personalized self-care plan, along with a habit tracker, so they can track their progress.

myStrength

The UAB Employee Assistance & Counseling Center has partnered with myStrength to provide free access to web and mobile tools for increased emotional health and wellbeing for employees and members of their immediate households. myStrength features hundreds of resources on topics like stress management, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, parenting, substance abuse and more.

My Health Rewards

This outcomes-based initiative rewards participants for completing age/gender specific screenings, participating in care-management programs, making healthier decisions and staying active. Participants can earn up to $350 througout the year, and can purchase discounted fitness trackers and other wellness products. Through the mobile app, participants can earn points for steps and exercise tracked through their Apple Watch or Apple iPhone device.
